What We Grow
We grow a select variety of the best spring flowers, every one of them planted, tended and harvested here in Appomattox.
Tulips — The first, highly sought after flowers of spring bringing joy and beauty as winter comes to an end.
Ranunculus — Our signature flower — soft, ruffled layers of pink, purple and orange grown in the hoop tunnel.
Peonies — Our peony fields are still in their early years but soon they’ll be putting out the most gorgeous coral, pink and white blooms!
Snapdragons — Tall, cheerful colorful spikes transplanted each fall so they're ready to reach for the sky by spring.
Campanula — Bell-shaped blooms on graceful stems — these soft lavender, pink and white bells are also overwintered and a favorite of ours.
Bouquets & the Farm Stand
Each week we go through our fields and harvest the flowers at their peak freshness. Then we arrange and wrap them with care for our customers to bring home or share. These bouquets will have a beautiful mix of the best blooming flowers that week. We sell them at our Wildway farm stand in Appomattox and at a local farmers market.
$15 Mini Bouquets · $25 Market Bouquets
Special orders welcome. Need a bulk bucket of flowers or bouquets for something special? E-mail us at wildwayflowerfarm@gmail.com — we’d love to work with you!
Why Buy Local:
Farm to Table
Our flowers are grown right here in Appomattox and harvested at peak bloom and full of color — ready to enjoy in our market bouquets and for our bulk orders. Our farm to your table — that's the secret to flowers that hold their vibrant colors and uplifting scents and last long in the vase.
Grown the Way Flowers Are Meant to Grow
Because our flowers don't have to survive a plane ride to get here, they don't have to be bred or forced for shipping. We grow flowers in season, in living soil — picked when they're ready instead of when a schedule says so. We don't use harsh pesticides, and we don't spray at all unless it's absolutely necessary to save a crop. It's a kinder way to farm, for the soil, for the bees and butterflies working the same rows, and for the people bringing the flowers home.
Your Dollars Stay Here
When you buy a bouquet from our stand, you make a real difference — you're helping one family farm in your own community keep growing. You get the freshest flowers around.
